Why haven't you been able to lose weight so far?

I thought that getting in shape would never be a problem for me, because I had been doing sports and dancing since I was a child. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, university came with long nights and shorter rest, and of course, quick lunches and dinners. With that, I created a perfect disharmony, which wasn't exactly the best decision. There's nothing I can do about it, the pounds are gone, but what can we do? I tried a lot of diets and exercises, until I realized that I didn't need them, because this requires a lifestyle change, not self-torture. I've collected the most important "Never Do These" Things:

  1. On January 1st, then on Monday……I’ll start. The first and most important rule – what you can do today, don’t put off until Monday :P. If you always postpone starting, then you’ll suddenly find yourself having to get rid of not 5 but 10 kilos. If you say on a beautiful Friday that this is your last weekend before the big “suffering” then this diet (yes, diet, because this is not a lifestyle change), then I’ll whisper to you right now that this start will be postponed too. The brain simply switches when it hears that it’s a diet, weight loss, etc., it won’t let you change. Stand in front of the mirror, see what you don’t like about yourself and get started right now, there’s no more.
  2. Eating too many processed foods

Did you think that eating processed foods would prevent you from successfully losing weight, especially from your belly? The white flour and refined sugars that you find in snacks and sodas and consume with great pleasure, cause inflammation in the body, which is associated with belly fat. It is worth eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, which are full of antioxidants and have anti-inflammatory effects. You would rather get rid of excess weight than feed it, right?

  1. Excessively one-sided training

I thought that it didn't matter what and how I moved and in any case it would only have a good effect on my body and, of course, on shaping my figure. You shouldn't focus on just one type of exercise, it's worth combining cardio with weight training for a safe and long-term sustainable weight loss. If you want to burn more calories and for the training to affect almost all muscle groups, you should do functional exercises.

  1. Don't let your rest be irregular . We tend to sleep relatively less during the summer, which can lead to fatigue and of course hinder weight loss. The adult body needs 7-8 hours of sleep, if you regularly sleep less than 7 hours, the excess will not move and can remain your faithful companion for a long time, is it worth it?

I won't go into detail about health problems because they require medical help and advice, but improper treatment of hormone problems can also lead to difficulty losing weight.
The most important thing is that you should not be one-sided in either diet or exercise and you should avoid extremes!!!
